My coworker told me about this place (thanks David). Absolutely adorable inside. Looks cozy and antique. Very unique looking. I stopped here with my Wife for late breakfast. They have great selection of coffee and it's taste good. Food is great (I order bunch for myself and everything tasted good). Staff was very nice. Definitely recommend.

12.9.22 Our 1st time here. Ample parking and unique sitting spaces. You order upfront from friendly staff and they bring the food to you. The coffee was outstanding. The bagel was fresh out of the oven. The egg and bacon sandwich was hot and cooked right. Overall a great experience and family friendly setting.

I often pass through the area where this restaurant is - Congamond Lakes. The area is very pretty - a series of lakes. Yesterday, my party was heading south toward home. It was around the end of lunch time (Saturday) and we decided to try Red's Café', which looks nice from the outside. It was toward the end of the lunch rush and there were very few people there. We both ordered BLT's, a fairly reliable item that is hard to mess up. The lettuce had some brown spots and a thick sort of rib through the middle like Romaine. The tomato was more or less OK. The bacon was more or less incinerated. My party and I will not be returning.

This is a great place for bike riders since it is right beside a major bike trail. It is a coffee shop with soups and sandwiches and decorated with "antiques" and an old time feel. It is very spacious and has an outside garden with picnic tables. They also have a good selection sweets and pastries.

Plenty of parking (for cars or bikes!) right next to the Farmington Canal Trail. Great snacks and food choices as well as water and drink selection! Mix of indoor and outdoor seating, even a little library and book section. Clean environment and bathrooms. Friendly staff and locally support food and coffee (Black Rifle Coffee Company $BRCC).

Ordered a salad, it was $12.95. This is what they served me. 2 slices of deli meat, about 10 leaves of lettuce

Update 6/26/2022 Food was just as good as I remember but the updated hours make this place even better. It was always too hard plan a bike ride so that I could eat here that is no longer the case. I don't know how much business they get from teh trail, but there is no lack of bike parking that's for sure. Out riding on the trail today had a wonderful breakfast, alright, it was more like an early lunch but it was still really good. Plenty of bike parking, and a great little area out back in the "garden" to eat.

Family friendly! I went here in the early morning with my young kids and the staff was friendly, welcoming, playful with my kids, and not at all overwhelmed by our energy. The kids were excited to use the play kitchen and “Make us some coffee.” We felt in no rush to leave. It was a great way to get out of the house early.
